High school forensics' students, taught by Mrs. Courtney Manuel, have been creating evidence boards, also known as detective boards, to help visualize connections between crime scene evidence and persons of interest during case investigations. Students researched a high profile criminal case of their choice in order to create their evidence board. Students have analyzed a wide variety of cases, including cold cases that happened decades ago as well as more recent cases whose convictions remain controversial.

Southern High School ninth grade English students wrote argumentative research papers in favor of an artist of their choice to be inducted into the Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of Fame. Once the papers were written, they were hand-delivered to the nominating committee at the Rock Hall in Cleveland, Ohio as an official submission. Students then created a museum display to artistically represent the main points of their arguments. Collectively, students showed their displays at the “Not” in the Rock Hall Museum Day. Here are a few photos of some of the fantastic work that the students did.
