A big thank you to Chelsey Pullins with Meigs Soil and Water Conservation District for teaching our Honors Biology 1 students about invasive species this morning. We had fun with the hands-on activity that demonstrated ways invasive species outcompete native species. Students were engaged and curious, we look forward to welcoming Meigs SWCD into our classroom again soon!

CCP (College Credit Plus): Those interested in taking CCP courses for the 25-26 school year need to attend one of the CCP parent meetings March 12 or March 26) This includes all students currently and those not currently taking CCP courses this school year. You can not take CCP courses for the 25-26 school year if you and your parent/guardian do not attend one of these meetings.

Tonight's CCP meeting is canceled. Meeting dates are now: March 12 and March 26. Both meetings start at 6pm. Mandatory for any Southern student wishing to participate in CCP program during 2025-26 school year.
