Southern High School students enjoyed a fascinating and educational trip to the Animal Inside Out Exhibit at Bossard Memorial Library in Gallipolis.
Mrs. Courtney Manuel's Honors Anatomy and Physiology class and Mr. Buckley's Honors Biology 2 students attended the exhibit. The students observed firsthand the amazing physiology of some incredible animals.

Thank you to Racine Volunteer Fire Department for visiting Headstart - Grade 4 today, as part of Fire Prevention Week. Students learned about the importance of smoke alarms, how to test them, how often to test them and how often they should be replaced. In addition, students were told about the importance of having a smoke alarm on every floor of the home as well as in each room someone sleeps in. They also learned “when you hear the beep, get on your feet!”
