Southern Elementary Preschool recently earned a GOLD rating with Ohio Department of Children and Youth. Step Up to Quality (SUTQ) is Ohio’s quality rating and improvement system for licensed preschools and child care programs. SUTQ recognizes and promotes programs that meet quality program standards that exceed minimum licensing health and safety regulations. By earning a rating of gold, silver, or bronze , a program is recognized for the quality level of and education for children and families. Sandy Perry from State Support Team Region 16 presented the banner to Principal Tricia McNickle and teaching staff Angie Smith and Jodi Fisher.
